Sprinklers!

The days are getting hotter now, so I figured, why not let Dylan play in the sprinkler? He wasn't a fan of the cold water, so he would just get as close as possible to stand just a little sprinkle on his tummy.

"Canoe"dling

I attended SOAR for USU about a week ago, and I learned a ton about what USU offers the students, one of which is outdoor boat rentals. Like Canoes, kayaks, and other fun stuff, and it's really cheap too!! So Dave and I went up to Newton Lake and "Canoe"dled for a couple of hours.

Swimming Fun with Friends!

Dylan and mommy went to the Aquatic Center with some friends! It was such a beautiful day and shall I say that we are both glowing today.....a red glow. Sunscreen isn't always your best protection against the sun, and when there's no shade, what can ya do?! :)
Here is his little friend Baine
Here is Kamry, I would say it's his girlfriend, but I think Baine has dibs. ;)

Day 31: Hopes, Dreams, and Plans for the next 365 days

Within the next year:

I hope Dave graduates from college Spring of 2012.

I dream of going to Hawaii after he graduates, as a graduation gift, and a nice vacation for the both of us!

I plan to keep losing weight and reaching my healthy weight by next spring.

I hope to go to USU and do well in my classes.

:)

Day 30 - A photograph of yourself and three good things that have happened in the past 30 days

1. Dylan figured out how to clap, and wave!

2. I got to spend 2 1/2 weeks with Dave, all day, everyday.....it's one of those good but bad things about the past month. ;)

3. Mother's Day was pretty great!

A Fun Start of the Summer!

Grandma Elwood got this swing for Dylan and he LOVES to swing!

My friend Meagan and her little boy Kayen are visiting from Arizona for a couple of weeks, so we got together to let them play! The boys are only a day apart.
Dylan was following Kayen around everywhere and playing with his ear....strange.....it was too funny!
Boys will be Boys!

Day 29: Something you could never get tired of doing

Dancing! I took Dance Lessons from the age of 3 or 4 until I graduated High School. After High School I have enjoyed taking Dance Aerobics classes at any of the gyms I've been a member of. I also Dance around in my house.
So how do I know I could never get tired of doing it, you ask?
It makes me HAPPY! Even when I watch dance shows or movies, I get this burning desire to dance again...and then I remember that I'm old, have lost all my flexibility and strength, and would probably injure myself. I still love dance though!! :)

Day 28: A secret you want to get out

I secretly want to go into pre-med at USU. I honestly don't know if I can do it, because you see, there is something called motherhood that I love, and I just don't think I could be gone all the time studying and being at school for a bazillion years. Right now I'm undeclared, because I still haven't made up my mind. So there you go, my secret is out!

Day 27: A person I love

I'm gonna switch this up a bit, since normally I would put my spouse, but I talk about my love for him on here already, so I thought I would talk about a few ladies that I love.
The above picture was taken on my wedding day. These are the hands of my mother, two grandmothers, and I.
I love the women in my life that I have been able to look up to. They have all been through so many trials in their lives, yet they have so much energy and happiness to them. I get so happy when I get to be around them. :)
