10 Months

I cannot believe my little baby is not a baby anymore! Let's see what he's been up to...
Grandma and Grandpa Elwood gave this cute lion to Dylan for Christmas. He loves it! The tail end of it pops up and he walks around with it. But he also likes it when we push him while he sits and goes for a ride!

He still loves his food, but, he won't eat the baby food that has chunks of veggies in it yet. He still inhales his food so we are still on stage 2 foods. Which is ok, I would rather him not choke. But he loves Rice with chicken, and Pears with pineapple. He is also very attached to his bottle.
Dylan absolutely loves music and anything that makes music. Anytime I turn on the radio he stops what he's doing to listen and dance.
He is also climbing over everything. It doesn't matter if he has plenty of room to crawl around or not, he has to climb over it to get where he's going.

He is such a happy boy. We get compliments all the time about how happy he is and cute. We love him!

Sickies

Yup. We caught the flu. I feel bad because I didn't go get a flu shot this year, therefore I started the whole sickness in the family. Then of course my little man got it. Poor little guy! He doesn't sleep, and he is very needy for mommy. His nose runs constantly and he coughs all the time. And it's so hard taking care of a sick baby, when I'm sick too. I'm starting to feel better though now, I had the flu and bronchitis, so I think the flu has passed but my lungs feel a little irritated still. I literally hadn't been out of the house for 6 days, so tonight my husband after work drove me into town and let me shop around for a bit. :) He is getting sick too, which is hard for him with school and work. We are surviving though. I shouldn't complain seeing as other people are going through alot worse. I definitely plan on getting a flu shot in a couple weeks so this doesn't happen again! (It was nice shopping online though and finding super good deals!) Good luck all you sickies out there.

Love Day

Dave and I had an afternoon Valentine's date! He took me to Morgan's Jewelers and bought me a new charm for my Pandora Bracelet and he surprised me when we pulled into Hamilton's. He is not big on fancy restaurants, but he knows I like them! So he took me there and it was pretty tasty! I got him a Willow Tree statue called "Promise". With the husband and wife slow dancing. Really sweet and Dave dances with me in our kitchen, so it has great sentiment. :)

We also delivered some Valentine's cookies and cupcakes to a few people. It is a tradition we started last year.

It was one of the best Valentine's ever! And I not only have one valentine but two. My hubby and my baby boy.....who is not such a baby anymore. :( He is growing too fast!

We hope you all had a great Valentine's Day, and had someone to share it with.

Out of the Antarctic!

Our little family left the frigid Cache Valley and went to visit family is SLC and PG. I know it's not much warmer there, but we could definitely feel a difference. We stopped in Riverdale on the way down to check out Carter's childrens clothing store and Zurchers. Zurchers is a party store with any and everything needed for a party. I wanted to check out what they had for Dylan's first birthday coming up in a few months. I saw this HUGE candy necklace and I told Dave that I would like it, jokingly but when we got to the checkstand he had it and bought it for me! What a sweetie. Here it is, I think it's about 2 1/2 feet or so.

When we arrived in SLC we decided to make our way to The Cheesecake Factory.

It was so good, and there is a ton of variety to choose from. And the cheesecake is amazing! It is officially my new favorite restaurant! We then headed to Dave's sister's and relaxed. Saturday we visited Dave's cousin Tyler and his wife Hollie. They had a sweet little girl 6 weeks ago and I got to hold her! She was tiny. I can't believe my little Dylan was even tinier than she is! After that we drove to my Brother's and then to my friend Emily's, and headed home afterward. It was nice to see friends and family. Most importantly to spend time with my husband and get out of town! Life is going good. :)
