Dylan has been giving some major attitude and some signs of tantrums coming our way. Each stage of his growing has gotten more difficult. I thought it would get easier for some reason....wrong! I thought it was so hard getting no sleep, feeding, changing, and taking care of him as a newborn, but boy was I wrong! That was the easy stuff! He slept all day, and some of the night. Now he's awake all day, except for a nap, and he sleeps all night, except for when he decides not to...He is such a mover too, he rarely sits down for more than 1 minute. What makes it harder is that Dave is gone all day, no, seriously, ALL DAY. We see him maybe 15 minutes in the morning before he leaves around 8 a.m. and sometimes I'm awake and sometimes not when he gets home at 11 p.m. So now you're thinking-but at least she see's him all weekend. HA HA HA, very funny! Dave also works every Saturday from 2-11 p.m. Then on Sunday, we aren't together at church because one of us has to stay in with Dylan because he won't go into nursery without non-stop crying and screaming bloody murder! When will it ever end? Sooner than later I hope. I'm so glad Dave graduates in May because I don't think I could do it any longer!
But looking past all the crazy, there are some cute moments too of course!

Skinny Jeans
I know I shouldn't brag, but.....I wore my skinny jeans today! Even though I'm not "skinny", these jeans are the smallest size of jeans I have been able to wear in my adult life and before that I wore this size my sophomore year of high school. So I'm pretty proud of myself. Losing weight is the hardest thing for me, even harder than child birth. I'm serious! I have lost 40 lbs. since having Dylan and I have a goal to lose 30 more. Not just because I want to be "skinny", but because 30 more lbs. will bring me to a healthy weight for my height. It will actually be the highest possible healthy weight for my height, so I might lose a little more than that as well. Wish me luck, I will need it!
Concert
Dave and I were able to spend some time just the two of us last night. We went to a Phil Vassar concert! It was sooooo good! There were two opening acts, the first was a comedian- Jose Sarduy, he was hilarious! and the second was- Paisley, she's a Utah girl who is getting her big break, and she was awesome! She had amazing vocals, what I mean by that is most people sound really bad live, so they get help in the studio, but she is awesome live! She's doing some Nashville singing competition hosted by LeAnn Rimes, so I'll have to check that out! Here is Paisley-
Then Phil came on and we were standing behind a couple of older ladies and they were googley eyed over him......He's about 20 years older than me, so I just enjoyed the music, not his rear end, which these ladies kept taking pictures of. We were about three rows back, standing. All of the money made was put towards a charity in Utah, it was nice to be involved in something to support a cause!
Isn't his piano painted so cool?! We thought so!
