So this past weekend Angie and I had the chance to get out of town for my birthday. We decided to take a trip to St George and just soak up some rays and get in a little R&R. Also on the way down we did a Utah temple tour. We stopped at most of the temples along the way and took some pics. We were able to see 8 out of the 11 currently operating temples here in the state. Pretty cool. We went to Zion National Park and took a tour of the canyon and did a little hiking as well. We hiked up to the Emerald pools...( I remember doing this as a wee little lad)I don't know if we were too early in the season or if it was just not as impressive as it was when I was there last, which was about 20 yrs ago, but it wasn't at all how I remembered it. The rest of the canyon was full of beautiful scenery though. After Zion, we stopped at IN-N-OUT Burger for my Birthday Dinner. I was so excited when I found out that there was an IN-N-OUT in Utah. Unfortunately it's on the opposite end of the state. So delicious and tasty! We spent the rest of our time just hanging out at our hotel, swimming, shopping, dining out and enjoying the warm weather.
