9 Months

I took Dylan in for his check up on Thursday and he is weighing in at 18 lb. 14 oz. and 28 inches. With a rather large head, as usual. It was also good timing since he has been sick for a while now. He had a fever for about two days, and alot of congestion and coughing. It was his first time being sick, and he did not enjoy it at all. He also decided to start pulling himself up onto anything and everything in the same week. Last but not least his bottom two teeth are still making their way in. He was definitely not a happy camper! Here are some pics of this past week of my big boy!

I made Dylan his own little lounger. He drank lots of juice and watched lots of Disney movies.

I enjoy waking up to this most mornings! Not just because he's super cute, but also because I don't have to bend over anymore to pick him up! lol.

He also recieved his first hair cut with the clippers! He was actually really good. Dave entertained him, and he giggled when the clippers were against his head. It must of tickled!

Dylan has been squealing, munching, crawling (instead of just army crawling), has almost his bottom two teeth, climbs onto everything, loves music, and will sing and bounce when he hears it, gives kisses, and is still figuring out waving goodbye. We love him, and he keeps us (especially mommy) on our toes!

A New Project. :)

I've decided to be crafty this week. Honestly it comes and goes. It's hard decorating the way I like to when I don't own my own house. I like more modern stuff, like blacks, white, silver and bright colors. But where I live is wood, rock, browns...etc. So I'm trying to decorate my way even if it clashes a bit with where I'm at. Wish me luck! This is what I'm working on.

I found this fabric and it only cost me $7.50 to cover four pillows. And the two frames I bought at D.I. for $1.00 each. They are french vintage looking! and ANGIE + Vintage= LOVE. I'm super excited! And I hope it turns out. :)

As of lately...

Well, since this is my journal I may be posting things that are lame to you but fun memories for me. So bare with me or see ya later! Here I go....
The other day Dave came in the house and said "look what I found hanging above my truck!" Definitely not what I was expecting when I looked back to see what he was talking about!

The other day I was relaxing in Dylan's room and Dave and Dylan came in to play and Dave started massaging my feet, and Dylan decided to join in on the fun. He is being taught well don't ya think?

And then this happens. Dylan always goes after our feet!

Dave and I had a fun date last weekend and we went rock climbing. It was the first time for Dave since High School, and it's been about four years now since I've been. So we were pretty sore the next day!!

Hello 2011!!!

I have a feeling this is going to be a good year. I'm definitely one to dwell on the past and one of my many goals for this year is to just forget about it all and focus on myself and my little family. I have many goals this year: #1: Make new friends, and spend more time with good friends. I feel like I've left most of them in the dust this year, (due to many happenings in 2010) but I'm going to be better at getting together with them and being there for them. #2: Take better care of me. Eating healthier and exercising more frequently. I definitely feel better about myself when I do those things! (And I have tons of clothes in my closet that are too small that are calling out for me to wear them!) #3: Work on exercising my mind and gaining more knowledge of the gospel. It's hard being a mommy, it's like your brain cells evaporate and you forget all the things you've learned throughout life. I mean you rock at taking care of a baby, but you can't even remember your basic times tables. lol. #4: Return to one of my loves- Music. I loved dancing to music, singing to music, and attempting to play musical instruments. I just might be joining the ward choir, and work harder at teaching myself how to play guitar. And Zumba is quite the workout, so I'll keep up with that. :) ------I hope everyone has a good 2011, and can make improvements in their lives, to be a happier you!!
