SLC Lights

My family went to SLC last night to see the lights, and boy was it crowded. There was the Mormon Tab./David Archuleta concert so it was extra busy. Dylan wasn't the happiest, it rained a bit, and we were all ready to go home when we were done looking at all the lights. But we got some pretty pics!

Here's some more of my little sweetie pie!!

All bundled up for the freezing outdoors.

This was him at Thanksgiving, so happy!

My cool little dude.

The coat that he will grow into.....someday.....

And I also have to mention that Dylan cut his first tooth! It was about a week ago.

What we've been up too...

I realized that all I blog about is Dylan. So here is a post involving more of us! For Thanksgiving this year we went to my parents house and Mike and Traci came up. We had a nice dinner and as a tradition each Thanksgiving we go to a movie, so we went and saw Tangled. It was Dylan's first movie theater experience and he was so good and loved the movie and we did too! I would like it for my Birthday...just a heads up dear....ha ha. Then as usual I slept in on Black Friday, since I'm not a crazy person, and because I would be that crazy person if I went, since I'm not a morning person. Then on Saturday the girls (mom, Traci, and I) had a craft day, and made super cute Stars and JOY Christmas decorations. It was a good time!
And besides the holidays, Dave is still trucking along through school and has finals next week. He is hoping to graduate by next December or the spring after that. He is still working full time too. He is a busy man, and I don't see him that often. It seems like when he finally has a full day off, it's spent with other people, and we don't spend alot of time together-one on one. So if anyone wonders why we are late or leave early or don't show up for things, that is why. And for me, I'm still day dreaming about going to school one day, and I just keep thinking...patience is a virtue, patience is a virtue. (I'm also still day dreaming about a vacation on a beach somewhere.) I'm also going blonde...again. Why, you ask. Blondes really do have more fun!!! ha ha.

7 Months!

What a big boy Dylan is becoming! He loves to eat anything in sight, he is army crawling like a champ, he still won't talk, just sing (he draws out syllables) and grunts, he wants to be everywhere mommy is, he still isn't sure about his sippy cup and prefers a bottle instead, he still laughs and smiles 24/7, and still loves his books. What a little sweetheart he is!!! I am so lucky to be his mommy.

Dylan is our free entertainment!

Lately we haven't been able to get any smiles from Dylan, since our camera has fun little lights that he stares at. Like a deer in the headlights. :)

Daddy and Dylan on their laptops.....but Dylan enjoys eating his more than looking...

I think this hat on other babies probably covers their ears. But not on Dylan's rather massive head.

Dylan likes to snuggle in bed with mommy in the morning and read books.

He also enjoys magazines and anything with pages.

Horoscopes

So I know I shouldn't believe in these things....but 98% of the info is so true!!! My sign is Cancer and Dave's is Aries. I read the personality of my sign and Dave's and it was pretty much right on target. I also checked which sign we are most compatible with and mine is Taurus and Dave's is Sagittarius. And apparently Cancer and Aries are the least compatible. Uh-oh. LOL!!! What do you think of horoscope signs? This quote I stole off one of my old young womens leaders' facebook status's. She was never able to have a baby and adopted the cutest little girl, and I believe they are planning on adopting baby number 2!! I know of many, many women struggling with getting pregnant and this totally touched me.- "‎An adopted child isn’t an unloved child; rather, one that was loved so much by someone who was willing to sacrifice her greatest accomplishment so that child could have more than just her love. Someone who is willing to break her own heart to mend others; someone who watches others tears of joy through her tears of sorrow."- Adoption is something I'm all for, I can't imagine being a child without a family to love them. I hope Jenny doesn't mind me posting this sweet picture of her little family, but you can just see the love they have for this little girl and how this little girl is so happy to have parents to love her too!!!
