Dave's 29th

Dave's Birthday was the day after Easter. He went to school in the morning and when we came home I took him out for his Birthday. We went to LaBeaus to eat and then to "The Hunger Games" matinee. Later that night my parents took him out to Texas Roadhouse and then we went to the store to buy him some Birthday ice cream. By the time we got home it was Dylan's bedtime and we were tired as well. Dave got some wonderful gifts and seemed to have a great Birthday!

Easter Weekend

Dave's sister Sarah and her little girl Addison were up for a few days and Dylan had alot of fun playing with her, or at least the other way around. She kind of scared him a bit. He's not used to other kids being around. They had fun doing an Easter egg hunt with Grandma Elwood, and ate lots of candies.....maybe a little too much. On saturday most of the Elwood fam went to Baby Animal days. We finally got to see the baby bears, although we had to wait in line for 30 minutes or more, it was well worth it when Dylan's face lit up and he was able to pet one. He also got to hold a couple of baby ducks and look at a couple of other animals. The lines were huge so we weren't able to see alot of it, but it was fun to watch Dylan with the animals. Then we all went to lunch at El Toro Viejo. It is one of my familys' favorites in Logan, and Dave has become a huge fan as well. On Easter morning Dylan started the day with an Easter egg hunt in our home, he was so excited to have another one, he really enjoys hunting for eggs. We then went to sacrament meeting and Dylan started to get a fever so we headed home to rest and later on that day we had a nice Easter dinner with the Elwoods' and Dave's grandparents. The weekend went way too fast, and I wish they would last longer, since it's the only time we get to spend more than 15 minutes with Dave.
A couple of funny and cute things Dylan has been doing and saying: *"pampa"-Grandpa *"papple"-Apple *Instead of referring to animals by their actual names, he just likes to make their noises instead. *I told him he was going to time out and he said "ya" and headed to the dining room to move a chair over to the corner and started to get up on it. He actually volunteers to go to time out....I don't think he's quite ready for that..."ya" is his answer for everything. *He says "2" and attempts to hold up two fingers, but it actually only looks like one, with the second finger half way up. *Every color is "blue", sometimes "red". *When he has a stinky diaper he imitates me by putting his hand over his nose and then waves his hand back and forth while I say "pee-ew stinky". As usual he is an outside boy and wants to live out there, yet I am still prego-exhausted and just want to lay around inside. It's been hard with a toddler, hopefully my energy returns soon, or Dylan will have to suffer a little while longer. :(

Jessica Simpson and the pregnancy weight...

I am mentioning this probably because I am pregnant myself and have been before. I am so annoyed at how mean the press/paparazzi is being to Jessica Simpson while she's pregnant! She is a tiny little woman, and cameras make you look bigger than you are anyways, so of course she looks huge when she gains a baby belly, prego boobs, and retains water! I am 30 lbs. overweight prior to being pregnant and my doctor told me to gain 25-30 lbs.! I am more conscious of my weight gain this time around and am hoping to only gain 25...because let's be honest, I gained 55 lbs. with Dylan, oops! I did really good the first 24 weeks with him, but gave up rather quickly, it doesn't help when your craving is Marie Calenders chocolate silk pie...and your husband is trying to make you happy by buying one at your immediate request.
Sorry, back to Jessica Simpson, she is glowing and happy, and I think she looks great! I would love to hear anyone elses opinion!

Twins' Blessing Day

Logan and Liam were blessed by their father Mike. They were dressed so cute in little bow ties! It was such a great day filled with the spirit, and you could feel the love that everyone had for these boys!!

I look like a kid in the candy store....ha ha. You know I'm happy when I smile soooo big that the double chin comes out!
The fam!
My studly boys!

Baby #2

We are excited to bring another baby into our family. He or she is due 10/11/12. I hope that's when the baby comes too, wouldn't that be an awesome birthdate?! I am currently 12 weeks, and hopefully the nausea goes away soon. This pregnancy has been very different from the first, and for the longest time I didn't think there was a baby inside of me, just because with Dylan I had to wear maternity pants by week 10 and right now at 12 weeks I can still button my pants up. Also, with Dylan I had a torn placenta very early on with some bleeding, and I had to get an emergency ultrasound at 9 weeks to make sure I wasn't miscarrying. So waiting until 12 weeks to get an ultrasound this time seemed like forever! I have been alot sicker with this baby too. I'm nauseus all day and I am also anemic so I have to take 2 iron supplements a day which makes me even more nauseus. I made Dylan a Big Brother T-shirt and we took him to see our parents a couple of weeks ago, and then just last night we texted to our siblings and friends a picture of him in it. It's just easier that way, and it's hard getting together with the family that lives far. As soon as I get my computer back, my posts will be more exciting, but until then, this is our BIG news and we are very happy and excited to find out what we're having in May!

Dylan's Favorite Things...

Dylan loves to help mommy out with the house cleaning.
Dylan loves his sweets.
Dylan sure misses his daddy while he's gone all day.
He is also obsessed with Toy Story, right when he wakes up he wants to watch it, after he eats breakfast, before he naps, after he naps, etc. I only let him watch it two times a day. He is hard to distract, I can't wait until it gets warm enough to play outside all day!

LOVE day.

Dave worked on Valentine's day, so we celebrated the Friday night before. We went out to eat at Texas Roadhouse, and to kill two birds with one stone, we walked around downtown Logan to look at the Art walk, and check out the new Art Gallery. Dave needed to go for one of his classes, and I love art, so it worked out for the best. I would highly recommend going to the Gallery, it has some amazing pieces in it. Valentine's morning Dave surprised me with a rather large stuffed animal, a bag of Hot Tamales (my favorite candy) and a massage from Arkana Salon. I was very impressed, I think after mentioning getting a massage as a gift for the past 4 years has finally stuck into his memory! He definitely spoiled me. :)
Later that day Dylan and I went up to USU campus to surprise Dave, in between his classes, with a Valentine balloon and a movie. Dave has quite the movie collection, and with our low income he hasn't been able to keep adding. Lately we only by disney movies that come out of the vault before they go back in. It's good to start a good collection for Dylan and our future children. So Dylan picked out Bambi, it is definitely a classic....too bad Dylan had no interest in it when I tried to have him watch it....Toy Story is his new thing. He says Toy Story, Buzz, and Woody. He is obsessed to say the least, all day long he runs into his room and points at his movies- "Toy Story, Toy Story, Toy Story". He is finally starting to pronounce certain words more clearly.
Anyway, overall it was a great Valentine's Day!

Babies

I was able to spend a weekend with my twin nephews. They are doing good, and are alot of work! They are so sweet, and fun to hold. It was so different changing a newborns diaper compared to my toddler. I forget how tiny newborns really are!
Don't judge, I only got a few hours of sleep...
