This past weekend my friend Sarah came up to Logan, got a hotel room, and spent alot of girl time with me! I met Sarah at a gym I used to work at for a couple years right after high school. We both found a love for exercise together while working there and we had alot of fun together! We also flew to Arizona to get certified as aerobics instructors together, I believe it was the first flight for the both of us. We've kept in touch for these last 7 years? has it been that long? wow. Anyway, we went to a movie, out to eat and stayed up late chatting. Time well needed for me. Thanks Sarah for being such a Fantastic friend, and hopefully we can keep these girl weekends a tradition. :)
More Summer Fun.
Yesterday I was able to spend time with my 2 little cousins Rylie and Tyler. They are really cute, smart, and they loved Dylan. Dylan and I went with my mom and the 2 kids to see Winnie the Pooh, play at Ryan's Park, and eat some ice cream. It was fun! I don't see these cousins but every couple of years since they live in Virginia, it was nice to be around them and watch them have fun!
1 Box of Huggies- $42, A pair of scissors to make a head hole- $3, 20 minutes of Family Fun- Priceless
This first started out with me making Dylan a little play box to do whatever may be. Then I thought-I could make it into a little robot costume for halloween, so I cut out arm holes and a head hole, but Dylan wasn't into it, as you can see...
Then I tried it out and it was a bit too tight...
Then Dave gave it one last try and ripped it off of himself, he is a Superdad!

26 Years and Counting...
What a fantastic last couple of days I've had. Today is my actual Birthday July 20th. (I know, I know, I'm blogging on my b-day. I just want to relax and tell you all about my eventful celebrations!)
Yesterday Dave and I dropped off Dylan with my parents and headed over to Bear Lake. We camped over at Rendezvous Beach, which has showers and toilets! Oh yeah, that's my kind of camping. Although my kind of camping is in a nice hotel with a pool and hot tub. LOL. We set up our tent and headed over to Pickleville Playhouse! I have been going to Bear Lake a few times a year for as long as I can remember, but I've never had the opportunity to go. First we ate dinner there, which was delicious. Then we attended the show-"Who Shot Juanito Bandito?" It was a gutbuster, Dave and I were laughing histerically. I would highly suggest anyone to go, it is worth the money!! We got back to our campsite just in time to roast our HUGE mallows and make S'mores. We slept but 4 hours since the waves were crashing so loudly that we couldn't sleep. We awoke and Dave gave me a very cute card that sings a very silly song, which Dylan is obsessed with. Then he lit a match and pretended that it was candle and put in on a chocolate cake donut with sprinkles, and sang Happy Birthday to me. We spent a few hours at the lake, ate some delicious food from LaBeau's Too, and headed home to get our Dyli-man. What a great Birthday, spending it with the two most important boys in my life.

Hogle Zoo
I don't even remember if I've ever been to Hogle Zoo, so we thought it would be fun to take Dylan! We also invited Dave's sister Sarah's little family to join us. It was so fun seeing all of the animals, and having Dylan ride the Carousel. We also took a little train ride (which turned out to be pretty lame) but it was all in fun for our little munchkin.
Aquatic Center
Dave was able to get off early from work to spend time with Dylan and I. At first Dylan was not a fan of the water, but with time he started to love it.
This past weekend Dave's dad became a Bishop for a Young Singles Adult ward. A whole bunch of family came and we all had lunch, it was nice to see family we don't see that often. It was also nice to see Dave's sister's baby Addison. Dylan and her really seem to like each other. We managed to get a couple of pictures, but Dylan was having a hard time being around lots of strangers all day.
Addison is 3 Months here, and Dylan is 14 Months.

4th of July
This past weekend was full of fun! Friday night Dave and I were able to go on a date, we picked up some Cold Stone and watched the Fireworks from the back of his truck. On Saturday we were able to go to the Cruise-in, it was really hot and we were all melting in the sun, so we left earlier than planned, so that Dylan wasn't miserable. Sunday we were super tired and Dylan wasn't having the best day, so we went to Sacrament and then came home and we all had a family nap. We've also started our own little family Sunday activity which is to go to the Temple and walk around. They open the gates now on Sundays, we were very happy to find that out. :) Monday was actually the 4th and we headed to a parade and my brother and his wife were in town, so we went to lunch with my family and played a round of miniature golf. Then to top the weekend off, Dave and I went to some more fireworks and got to spend more quality time together as a couple. Overall, it was a pretty fabulous Holiday!
