High School

Dave and I attended the same high school, I was a sophomore and he was a senior. We never knew each other existed and sometimes wish we could go back and see if we passed each other in the hallway. Don't be jealous, we look so dead sexy in our senior year pictures....mmmk...What were we thinking back then? I'm happy to say we are both better looking and have grown up a lot since then.

Joyous Day!

Dave was offered a job today! Yay! He starts training next week, and will be getting paid a little more than his last job! So much stress has been lifted from our shoulders.

Another one bites the dust...

You know when something happens and it is really difficult and you think, well that won't happen again because we've learned from that experience and things will get better.? Never make that assumption, always know that it can happen again. Dave lost another job a month ago. We are looking and applying, and he has had 2 interviews but nothing yet. I should be a pro when it comes to having faith and patience, yet I am not perfect and those things are being tested to the max again. I thought it was difficult the first time this happened but it's even more so this time around. We actually have a lot more bills this time around and so it makes it quite eventful. Just a few short days after he lost his job we headed to the Temple for some guidance. What a blessing it is to have a Temple so close. We both got the answer to not move to SLC or Utah County...we had some possible job opportunities down there. So we are still in the Valley hoping for work. We have an app on our phone called Indeed.com and each day there is anywhere from 5-30 job openings in Cache Valley and 50-150 in Utah County, so we are trying to figure out what the purpose of staying here is. There must be something coming, we just have to wait for it to come I guess.

Tatum's 1 Year Birthday!

I can't believe my Tater-bug is 1! We had a family party and the theme was "Bugs" since we call him our Tater-bug! I didn't get any pictures of the fun food table but I did get video. Here is the Birthday boy in action. He was so spoiled, and we are thankful to the family who came and made it a special day!

Potty Time

Dylan is now Potty Trained! Yay! It took about a week, and he was very willing. So the advice I was given by an old Visiting Teacher who had 8 kids was correct- "No need to force them to go because when they are ready they will let you know and it will be best for the both of you!" Dylan is 3 years and 5 months, I honestly didn't think it was ever going to happen since most of the other kids his age were potty trained a year ago. One of our family goals this year was to get him potty trained and thank goodness it happened before the end of the year! Here are a few pictures, I am highly aware that I missed an important step on his chart which is to "wipe" and I asked him to flex in his undies and he kept looking in the mirror instead of the camera...like father like son.... ;)

More Pics!

Don't Judge....I was having one of those "I may never have a little girl" moments, and it's fun to dress up babies...

My Boys!

Dylan says the cutest most random things ever, and I need to write them down so I don't forget: "I'm cleaning my Happy Feet!" He likes to tell us what to do a lot like- "Stop singing!", "Stop Talking!", "No yawning in the car!" Whenever we drive by the Tabernacle he says excitedly, "The Temple!" He also always mentions that Heavenly Father and Jesus live in there. Dylan loves nursery now, thank goodness, and he is full of energy and he is incredibly defiant. Tate is 1 week away from turning 10 months old and just started crawling and is pulling himself up to furniture and walking slowly and carefully...oh boy! He doesn't say anything real definite just "aaaa, mmmmm, ga", he always blows raspberries and squeals at a really high pitch. He isn't super ticklish like Dylan and he scrunches his eyebrows into a scowl a lot, it's a pretty good dirty look, hopefully it doesn't stick for life. We love him to pieces though, especially when he shows us his huge smile that just melts our hearts!
