SUPERMAN

I must say that there is a special someone in my life. He is a giving, loving, happy, hardworking, handsome man. And I can't believe all that he does for me, our families, and others. I'm one to express exactly how I'm feeling about something or someone, and sometimes I need to stick a sock in it. But this man never has anything bad to say about anyone, and will forgive someone so quickly. He is definitely becoming more like his Savior everyday. He is so excited to have a little boy, and he lights up everytime he talks about him or feels him move in my belly. I keep getting compliments about him from many people, on how wonderful he is, and how lucky I am. And boy are they right! So this blog I dedicate to my one True Love...

WHAT A HOTTIE!

Baby Updates & The Greatest Husband!

I just wanted to update everyone on how our baby and my pregnancy is going. I am about 24 weeks along and my belly continues to grow. Somedays I have so much energy that I wish I could just go for a run, or take a dance class. I guess I'll just stick with my Yoga. Anyways.... The doctor said that our baby is right on track for his due date May 10th. Which is good news compared to a couple appointments ago when he said I might have a premature baby, and c-section due to my heart shaped uterus. But any problems I had earlier on in the pregnancy have dissipated. We are so happy and excited to see this little boy. Somedays I think he might just kick his way out without any help! He's a mover!

Enough about me! I just wanted to write a little love note for my Husband, who is the best! Why? you ask- He is working practically every weekend, going to school practically ever day (full time for both). And is a primary teacher with me. And yet he still comes home with a smile on his face, and a kiss for us both! And he is taking great care of his prego wife! Love you so much Stinkles! -Angie

No we didn't hit a dog!

It was a dark night as we entered into the Sardine Canyon. My little "Sugar"- well my white Mazda 6 is what the rest of you know my car as was being driven by my tall, dark, and handsome husband. I was in the passenger seat watching for deer that might suddenly jump out at us, when suddenly this light tan, large animal looked right at me with glowing eyes and ears on the top of it's head. It looked just like a giant cat...oh wait, it was! We ran into a mountain lion, or should I say it ran into us! There is now an inconspicuous array of dents and a missing hub cap on the back right side of my Sugar.

But on a more serious note- we are thankful that something worse didn't happen. If the lion ran out into the front of our car, we would've had major damages and cars running into us. It was a busy canyon that night. Here's a few pics from the night!

This is me making a sad face and pointing to the injuries that Sugar had.

This is exactly what I saw before we hit the lion. Creepy huh!

Christmas 2009

Dave and I had such a nice Christmas this year. We were able to spend it mostly with my family, and we did lots of fun things! My mom planned a mixed dinner, a fun game, and a movie night for Christmas Eve. Then Christmas morning we went to my Grandma and pa's house for breakfast. Every year my Grandpa makes us a Christmas breakfast, and we get to watch them open their presents from each other. It's a great way to start off the day. Then instead of presents this year Dave and I decided to write each other letters for each other of appreciation. And we both feel that it was the best Christmas we've ever had! We were spoiled by family of course, and are grateful for them and all that they do for us. Here are a few pictures from our eventful weekend. We hope you all had a Merry Christmas!

This is Mylo (on the left) and Bo. Mylo is Mike and Traci's dog and Bo is my family dog that I grew up with. He is really old, but still looks like a pup!

This is my only sibling, my older brother Mike...he got a little too into character with the antlers and all...

Temple Night

Dave and I finally went to the temple and did an endowment session. Every month we say, "we need to go to the temple", so then we set a night but get caught up in family things, or Dave would get stuck at work late. I remember going to the temple for the first time and how overwhelming everything was, but how wonderful it was too. I look back on our wedding day and my favorite part was being sealed in the temple and walking outside and everyone cheering, and just being surrounded by family, and being so incredibly happy! The rest of the day was awesome, but such a big blur. I'm so thankful that Dave and I keep each other on our toes when it comes to choosing the right. I remember when we were first married and we just wanted to be together all the time and church was the last thing on our minds. But we now realize more and more that marriage takes three. God, your spouse, and you. We are so much happier when we go to church, read our scriptures, and say our family prayers. We miss our Webelos in our last ward, it was definitely a task every thursday, but we were thankful for the experience. We hope you all take time to remember the most important things in life this Christmas season, and try to help those who are less fortunate than we are. Merry Christmas!

IT'S A...

BOY! Yes, after 1 Dr. appointment and 2 ultra-sound appointments in three days, we finally found out what we are having. He is healthy and growing well. We are so excited! It was really cute though, because he was covering his "area" with his hands like- "Ah! don't take a picture of that!" It took a while to get a good picture to prove that he's a he! This whole time being pregnant I've had a feeling that we were having a boy. I'm so glad I was right! We can't wait to see him. I'll have to download a few pictures and post them. But on a side note, those of you who I don't see that often are probably wondering what I look like all prego. So here are a few pictures, the first is 12 weeks, then 16 weeks, then about 20 weeks. I have only gained 7 lbs. Which I am really surprised because I eat all the time! I guess only time will tell how much I will end up gaining..eek!

Oh the stress I consume! And you can read it right on my face, by the hundreds of zits that have overtaken it. It all started out the day after thanksgiving, and now continues...stress is not good for a baby in a belly, everytime something stresses me out, my body takes it all in, including the baby. I've been so irritated by a lot of people lately, just ask my other half-my husband. He get's to hear about it everyday...blah, blah, blah! I wonder what my blood pressure has been lately, probably pretty high, I hope I don't have pre-eclampsia.
But on a happier note, I'm excited for the 14th. That's when we hear the big news! I hope you are all having a happy holiday season!
